The process has been exhaustive and some would say a little long but ILG’s closure demanded a long term look at what was available that met a criteria based on honesty, integrity and relationships.

There is no doubt we are in interesting times.

If you have not already noticed, my new MLM opportunity is with a company called Numis.

What would YOU do if your company suddenly gave you the bad news?

Would your team follow you? Have you branded yourself as a leader?

Would you bury your head in self pity? Would you wait to be rescued?

As you know, the ILG doors were closed down with relation to MLM marketing so the old song of “All Dressed up and Nowhere To go” can true in my ears as it did for many.

A smart man once told me that to remain in control online you need to “Brand yourself through attraction marketing” rather than promoting your company.

Positioning yourself this way allows you to ride out the bumps and bruises should anything ever happen to your company? How right he was.

So a new chapter has dawned and the word patience has reverberated around the house for some weeks now but its all good.

I took a leaf out of my earlier post regarding the evaluation of MLM businesses and began to analyse the incredible amount of opportunities that are available.

I thought I would share the process in the hope that anyone else out there in a similar situation will be well guided towards their eventual decision.

1)      Product

• High quality with an array of products available
• Product is comparable in value to the market place
• Lots of repeat orders and happy to use with confidence.

2)      Clarrify expectations

• Personality matches well with the leadership and up line
• Expectations regarding mentoring programs have been established and agreed upon

3)      Compensation Plan

• Binary system with exciting first up bonuses
• Not the strongest plan but a long way from the weakest
• Could it be that weak plans have strong product and visa versa?? (Just a thought)

4)      Retention rate

• Well exceeds the industry average of between 12-15%
• Like alot of things the retention will be reliant on quick and positive results.

5)      Marketing strategy

• Both offline and online strategies available
• Time deficient strategies are powerful

6)      Automation

• Great automation processes
• Good systems are in place

7)      History of Company

• Anything in my opinion under 5 years in this industry is a “start up”
• This is a start up but also unique within the market place

8)      Teaching

• This is the impressive part with excellent systems in place for support
• Ample opportunities to capitalize on personal mentoring
• A global mastermind group in constant communication with empathise on education

9)      Investment

• The start up costs are dependent on the level of which you begin
• Like most things, the bigger the start up cost, the bigger the rewards
• The old saying of “time or money remains”

10)   Duplication

• Yes there is duplication which is especially good for newbies
• Personal promotion through attraction marketing still remains a key

I will say that not everyone from within the ILG fraternity has gone the same way. It was never anything personal and it has everything to do with the power of choice and matching your own needs with those of the company.

Be true to yourself, your values, your family and your team.

Personally with most things being equal it came down to two major criteria.

The first was whether or not the average person could have as good a chance as any when it came to producing results and the second was leadership/mentoring.

I have total faith in both, so the chapter begins and the minute this is posted I will begin on unravelling exactly what it is.
